Trafficking Victims Outreach & Services (TVOS) creates community solutions to prevent and end human trafficking, gender based violence, and sexual and labor exploitation. We work on behalf of immigrants as well as US-born survivors to create safe, life affirming options and to expose the suffering and injustice that occurs in local communities yet remains unrecognized and unaddressed.

Long Term Goals
Our goal is to mobilize individuals and communities to refuse to tolerate the inhumanities of human slavery, exploitation and gender violence through training and education,
consultative services, public awareness and legislative advocacy. We will create a social consciousness in which victims can find safe passage out of oppression toward a better life.

Scope of Human Trafficking Cases
We have offered intervention in over 40 cases including:
- Young mail order brides and trafficked teenage girls from Africa, Asia, Central American, Eastern Europe and Russia.
- Domestic workers from Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Philippines and Somalia brought to this country and exploited by seemingly upstanding members of the greater Boston community.
- Girls as young as 11 years old coerced into prostitution throughout Massachusetts and across state lines.

Accomplishments
Our work is challenging and brings us face to face with individuals, families and supportive community networks in Greater Boston, throughout the country, and internationally. Our accomplishments to date include:
- Coordinating community services and case management on at least 40 cases of labor, sex trafficking and gender based violence.
- Drafting legislation sponsored by State Senator Mark Montigny to form a study commission addressing the issues of labor and sex trafficking in Massachusetts.
- Hosting and facilitating 25 monthly inter-disciplinary working forums.
- Organizing over a dozen conferences and workshops for various community constituents on issues of gender based violence, sexual exploitation, labor trafficking, teen prostitution, coalition building and racial solidarity building.
- Providing interviews and background material to major media outlets including the Oprah Winfrey Show and the Boston Globe.
