The relief work and sculpture of the female figure that you see on this website are the creation of artist, Darrell Gane-McCalla. Darrell is 27 years old and is a Boston based visual artist. Her main work is in ceramic sculpture, community murals and art education. In her sculpture she focuses on the female figure and emphasize women's resilience in the midst of oppression. She has worked both individuallly and collaboratively on comunity murals and taught art to children, teenagers, and adults. In all of her work she attempts to heal, connect, communicate, bridge barriers and both envision and create a better and more just world. She can be reached at gillofalltrades@yahoo.com.
